Good Job on your sub culture B. You did a good job analyzing it. As we both know I'm not a Greek member, but you gave a good describtion of what the Greek community stands for. Loves.

The Greek community, while only accounting for 7% of the University of Nevada's population, is a very vocal minority. In fact, aside from just being vocal, they are very influential and have made a lot of things happen on campus. While I am not a Greek, nor do I aspire to be one, I can definitely understand the basic principles of which they stand for; brother/sisterhood, charity, honor, etc. I just wish that the idiots who blemish your guys reputation (Pi Kappa Alpha in the early 2000's, SAE, and ATO) would have not done what they had done.

As a member of the Greek system I would be happy to leave you your first comment on this issue. First, I would like to say how happy I am that someone decided to write something on the Greek lifestyle here at UNR. The History of these organizations reachers far deeper than most would imagine. And the fact that there are so many misconceptions about Greek life makes the experiances that much more enjoyable to those who are involved in these organizations and no the truth as opposed to the rediculous. Very tight knit and important subculture in the Reno/UNR community, good job.
